Alta Italia

Este fin de semana buscábamos un restaurante para ir con unos amigos a cenar. Buscando en la web de eltenedor.com (recurro a ella habitualmente porque me permite descubrir restaurantes nuevos a precios excelentes) encontré una oferta muy buena para un restaurante italiano; Alta Italia.

This weekend I was searching for a new restaurant to go with some friends to have dinner. Looking through the web page eltenedor.com (I always use it to discover new restaurants with great prices), I found a very good promotion for an Italian restaurant; Alta Italia.

Las fotos me gustaron y sobretodo la idea de que fuera un  lugar íntimo, con mucho encanto. Así que reservamos. No tengo muchas fotos porque no me lleve la cámara, lo siento.

The photos from the place, captured my attention, and above all it was a small place with lots of charm. So I made a reservation. I haven't got many photos as I didn't take the camera with me, sorry.

Está situado en el Born, pero en una zona que invita a no repetir. Una vez entras en el restaurante, el servicio es tan afable y todo es tan acogedor que te olvidas de todo lo demás. Otra cosa que me gustó es que estaba lleno de italianos nativos, quien mejor que ellos para valorar una cocina italiana?

It’s located in the Born, in an area that invites you not to go again. But once you enter in the restaurant, the service is so nice and everything is so welcoming that you forget about everything else. Another thing which I liked was the fact that it was full of native Italians that meant that the food was going to be nice.

Yo comí gnocchi a la boloñesa y de segundo atún con sésamo. ¡Buenísimo todo!

I ate gnocchi Bolognesi and tuna with sesame sedes. Everything was excellent!

Resultado: El sitio muy acogedor, la comida exquisita y el precio de cine mudo, gracias a eltenedor.com (17eur/pax).

Hotel Los Siete Reyes

Me acabo de dar cuenta de que aún no había escrito ningún post sobre el sitio más bonito del mundo, para mí, claro. Se trata de un pueblo de Aragón que se llama Ainsa, provincia de Huesca. He pasado tantos veranos con mi familia, que tengo muy buen recuerdo. Intento ir una vez al año y creo que cada vez mes gusta más.

I have just realized that I have never written a post about the most wonderful place in the world, for me, of course. It’s a small village in Aragon, called Ainsa, located in the province of Huesca. I have spent many summer holydays with my family there, so I have very nice memories. I try to go each year and I think each time its better.

El casco antiguo es precioso y aunque pasen los años cada vez tiene más encanto; calles adoquinadas, casitas de piedra y unas vistas increíbles. Sobretodo recomiendo visitar el castillo que data del siglo XI.

The old part of town is gorgeous and even years pass by it preserves its charm; paved streets, stone houses and incredible views. I recommend, above all, visiting the castle that dates from XI century! 

En la plaza, en el casco antiguo, existe un hotelito, Los Siete Reyes que sin duda recomiendo a todo el mundo. Tiene 6 habitaciones; tres de ellas con vistas a la plaza y otras tres con vistas a la Sierra de Guara. Me encantan las del último piso con techos abuhardillados y sobre todo la que tiene vistas a la plaza. 

In the plaza, in the old part of town, there is a small hotel named Los Siete Reyes that if you decide visiting Ainsa, I recommend you to stay there. It has 6 rooms; 3 with views to the mail plaza and the other 3 to the Guara Mountains. Ask for a room in the last floor as they have sloping ceilings.

El desayuno es excelente y se sirve en el piso del medio. Para los que duermen en una habitación en ese piso tal vez es un poco más ruidoso, pero como es imposible que haya mucha gente…. 

The breakfast is excellent and it is served in the middle floor. For those who sleep in a room on that floor could be a little bit noisy, but as the hotel is very small, breakfast time is never crowded.

Si algún día queréis perderos por Aragón os recomiendo que visitéis Ainsa.
