Situado a 1km del centro de Pals, Costa Brava, encontramos esta espectacular masía del S. XVII,  restaurada y convertida en un pequeño hotel con mucho encanto.

Located 1km away from the center of Pals, Costa Brava, we find this spectacular country house from the XVII century, restored and converted into a small cozy hotel.

Cuenta con 22 suites. Todas disponen de terraza y acceso directo al jardín.

Un espacio de ensueño, lleno de calma. Tengo que reconocer que he ido un par de veces y siempre me ha sorprendido el silencio y paz que reina el jardín. Me encanta poder estirarme en el jardín, al lado de la piscina y leer al sol. ¡Todo un lujo!

A small idyllic place, full of calm. I recognize that every time I’ve been there, I have been shocked by the silence and peace that reigns in the garden. I love to rest in the sun near the pool while reading a good book. Luxurious!

El restaurante está dirigido por el Chef Damián Rafecas, y ofrece una cocina de inspiración mediterranea exquisita. ¡Vale la pena probarlo!

The restaurant is excellent and its Chef Damián Rafecas is brilliant. Offers excellent Mediterranean dishes. Worth trying!

Tengo que reconocer que este hotel me gusta mucho y es más, se celebran muchísimas bodas aquí, ya que el sitio tiene mucho encanto.

I like this hotel, a lot. Furthermore, many weddings are celebrated here as the place has a lot of charm.

Mas Falgarona Hotel

      

Al menos yo ya tengo ganas de que llegue el verano definitivamente y poder cambiar el tono pálido, tirando a transparente, de mi piel por uno un poco más bronceado…. Además está comprobado que el sol ayuda a la síntesis de a vitamina D y por eso estamos más animados y con ganas de hacer cosas. :)

Al least I am willing summer to finally stay and be able to change my yellowish pale skin tone… moreover  it has been studied that the sun stimulates the synthesis of Vitamin D which makes us be happier and wanting to do many things. :)

Por lo tanto os voy a proponer una escapada de fin de semana ideal! Mas Falgarona. Yo ya he estado 2 veces!

Cuenta con 11 habitaciones, nosotros nos quedamos en una doble y era más que correcta.

It has 11 rooms; we stayed in a double one and was more than correct.

 Aunque ahora mismo me quedaría con una Junior Suite Jardín. ¡Me encanta!

Esta apartado de cualquier núcleo urbano, por lo que es muy positivo saber que cuentan con un restaurante con una gastronomía de ensueño.

It’s located far away from the village, so it’s quite positive to know it has an excellent restaurant to have dinner.

Un paisaje que invita a relajarse y desconectar todo el fin de semana, con una piscina espectacular y en verano cenas alrededor de la misma. Lo único malo es que la última vez que fui no sé porque todas las avispas de la comarca decidieron bañarse conmigo….

A landscape that invites you to relax and enjoy your weekend, with a great pool and during summer nights you can have dinner around. The only negative point is that the last time I was there, all the bees of the region wanted to enjoy a bath with me….

Disponen de bicicletas para que puedas pasear por los alrededores.

They have bicycles available so you can go around.

Una amiga mía y su marido, me aconsejaron que lo ideal sería que pusiera una valoración de todos los hoteles que recomendaba y pensé que sería buena idea. Voy a clasificar los hoteles del 5-10 partiendo de la base de que si salen en este blog ya es porque me gustan mucho.

Casa Migdia

Revisando el listado de hoteles que tengo para recomendaros, me he acordado de este; Casa Migdia en Sant Jordi Desvalls. Ahora mismo no sabria con exactitud como di a parar él, aunque seguramente fue a través de Secret Places.

Looking at my list of hotels done, I have remembered about; Casa Migdia located in Sant Jordi Desvalls. I really don’t remember how I found this hotel, probably searching through Secret Places web.

El hotel se encuentra en el centro de Sant Jordi Desvalls, pueblo a 10 minutos de Gerona. ¡Vale la pena dar una vuelta por sus calles!

The hotel is situated in the center of Sant Jordi Desvalls, village 10 minutes away from Gerone, it’s worth walking around its streets!

Consta de 5 habitaciones, cada una con un nombre y personalidad diferente:

Has 5 rooms, each one with its own name and style:

Carmen: un pequeño apartamento con terraza propia.

              A little apartment with its own terrace.

 

Frida: en esta habitación nos quedamos nosotros, es bastante grande y el baño es espectacular, con ducha y bañera.

           We stayed in this one. The room is spacious but the bathroom is incredible, with tub and shower. 

 

Paco: Es la habitación más grande que tienen. Dispone de una amplia habitación y un baño con acceso a un patio interior propio de la habitación.

           It’s the biggest room. The bathroom has its private patio.

 

Kika: una habitación más pequeña pero con una decoración con mucho encanto y un baño que recuerda un hammam.

           A smaller room but with a charming decoration and a bath that reminds me of a hammam.

218: esta es la habitación que menos me gusta, ya que tiene el baño dentro la habitación separada por una cortina.

        This room is the one I like least, as it has the bath inside the room separated by a curtain.

 

¡El sitio ideal para desconectar!

Is the perfect place to relax!

Aunque suene muy raro… os voy a recomendar un sitio para cenar… pero preguntar mejor por la ubicación en el hotel. En el pueblo, existe una gasolinera, pues en la puerta de al lado de la gasolinera hay un restaurante que “invita a no entrar”. Además en la entrada hay un bar y parece que como mucho te vayan a servir una tapa de olivas. Que equivocados estábamos... al fondo tienen un restaurante donde la cocina es de las que no se olvida con facilidad. Nosotros pedimos una caldereta que estaba buenísima, el servicio muy agradable y recuerdo que era súper barato todo. Un 10!

Even though it’s very strange what I am about to tell you… I am going to recommend you a place to have dinner… before going ask in the hotel the exact location. In the Village there is a gasoil station, right next to it, there is a restaurant that invites you “not” to enter. It seems more a bar than a restaurant, but at the end you can find the restaurant and I swear you will not forget the food easily. We asked for a “caldereta” and it was amazing, the service very kind and so cheap, we couldn’t believe it! Excellent!!!

Hotel Mas Sa Perafita

¡Un hotel dónde el tiempo se para! El año pasado estuve de despedida de soltera en Cadaqués y camino de mi casa, el taxista que me llevaba comentó que había una boda de alguien muy “famosos” en el hotel Perafita. No le di la menor importancia. Cuál fue mi sorpresa que este verano decidimos escaparnos 3 días  a Cadaqués, antes de la boda, y vi una oferta en el Hotel Sa Perafita. Juzgarlo vosotros...

¡A hotel where time stops! Last year, one of my hen parties was in Cadaqués and back home, in the taxi, the driver told me that there was a “famous” wedding taking place in the Perafita hotel. I really did not take much attention. My surprise came by, when this summer we wanted to go 3 days, before our wedding, to Cadaqués and I saw an offer for Hotel Sa Perafita. Judge by yourself...

El Mas Perafita acoge la exclusiva bodega de los vinos Martín-Faixó, con el peculiar carácter de esta tierra y elaborado de manera artesanal, recuperando la sabiduría familiar de siglos de tradición. Está situado como a 10 minutos del centro de Cadaqués (en coche), la localización es única, ya que goza de unas vistas envidiables y rodeadas de viñedos. Lo único un poco negativo que para moverte la carretera es un poco incomoda y tienes que coger el coche para todo.

Mas Perafita hosts exclusive winery of wines Martin Faixó. Wines with this land character and made the traditional way recovering centuries of family tradition. It’s located 10 minutes away from the center of Cadaqués (by car), the place is unique, as it enjoys of an enviable landscape surrounded by wine yards.   The only thing that's a little bit negative, is the fact that you have to get the car for everything and the road is full of curves.

El hotel cuenta con solo 4 habitaciones, por lo que encontrar disponibilidad no es fácil. Pero si tienes la suerte de encontrar disponibilidad, vale la pena ir. Las habitaciones son muy espaciosas y la decoración las hace muy acogedoras. Recuerdo que el baño era increible.

The hotel has only 4 rooms, so finding availability is not an easy task. But if you are lucky you can find a room. The rooms are espacious and their inner design makes them really cozy. I remember the bath was incredible.

El desayuno, en verano se sirve fuera, disfrutando de las vistas del enclave. Y en caso de llover se sirve en un salón, donde creo deben hacer eventos, al lado de la bodega. ¡Espectacular! 

Breakfast is served outside, when there is good weather. If not, inside there is a salon next to where they elaborate the wine. ¡Spectacular!

Durante la estancia se pueden visitar la bodega y degustar sus magníficos vinos.

During your stay, you can also visit the wine cellar and taste their wonderful wines.
